Tomorrow I have an appointment with a “Cambridge Diet” councillor who lives around the corner from me (which is dead handy).
I’ve been piling on the pounds since I gave up smoking 6 years ago. I’ve put on about 5 stone. It’s like I exchanged one addition for another. I correct that.. I did exchange one addition for another...
Enough is enough. I need to reduce my weight. I’m now a size 20-22 and nothing looks nice. Shopping isn’t fun. I dread any dressy events. And I hate looking my age. and hate hot weather.
This year a friend of mine who was a size 18-20 and 5ft 2 went on the lighter life diet. She started it in March.
In April we all went away to Amsterdam. She was so good. She didn’t falter. She stuck completely to it (bar some white wine) It’s now August and she is a size 12. For the last 15 years she has been chubby. And now looks great. I think seeing her do this has given me inspiration to start as well.
I have been trying to slim fast but because I still eat, it doesn’t take me away from my addition to food. Going on Cambridge or lighter life takes you away from it. Going cold turkey and craving food isn’t going to be easy.
The Cambridge councillor rang me today to arrange an appointment. Tomorrow at 9.45am. Fil is going to weigh me measure me and take my picture….. Must make sure I wear a nice bright red lipstick to divert away from my body lol
